Due to Tuesday's impending storm and the closing of Albemarle County schools, Old Crozet School Arts will be closed on Tuesday, February 9th.

Since we will have missed two of the five Session 4 Tuesday classes due to weather issues, Tuesday classes will be adjusted to a four-week session. Classes will meet on Tuesdays, February 16, February 23, March 2 and March 9.

Tuition for Tuesday classes will be prorated for four weeks as follows:

- Tuesday Morning Yoga: $40 + $5 Registration Fee
- Creative Movement: $42 + $5 Registration Fee
- Modern/Jazz $48 + $5 Registration Fee
- Knitting for Beginners: $67 + $15 Materials + $5 Registration Fee
- French for Pre-Schoolers: $52 + $5 Registration Fee
- Art for Children: $60 + $20 Materials + $5 Registration Fee
- African Drumming: $60 + $5 Registration Fee
- Collage: $50 + $5 Registration Fee
- Basic Quilting: $80 + $5 Registration Fee
- Acting: $64 + $5 Registration Fee

Given the uncertain condition of many roads and the closing of Albemarle County schools, Old Crozet School Arts will be closed on Monday, February 8th.

Since we will have missed two of the Session 4 Monday classes due to weather issues, Monday classes will be adjusted as follows:

- FLUTE ENSEMBLE will meet February 22, March 1, March 8, March 15, March 22. Registration is still open for this class (see below)!

- MONDAY BEGINNING GUITAR, BALLET A, MONDAY CONTINUING MAT PILATES, TEEN/ADULT BEG/INT BALLET will meet on February 15, February 22, March 1, March 8. Tuition will be prorated for four weeks as follows:

- Monday Guitar: $60 + $5 Registration Fee
- Ballet A: $52 + $5 Registration Fee
- Continuing Mat Pilates: $48 + $5 Registration Fee

OCSA's first HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE CLASS begins this SUNDAY, JANUARY 17th from 1:00 - 2:30 pm. The class will be taught by Boomie Pedersen, Co-Artistic Director of the Hamner Theatre. The class will meet three Sundays in January (the 17th, 24th, & 31st). Tuition is $48 + $5 registration fee. YOU MAY REGISTER AT THE FIRST CLASS ON SUNDAY!!! This is a class for high school students with or without previous acting or theatre study experience. Come give it a try!!

The SATURDAY SALSA & SWING JANUARY MINI-SESSION with Edwin & Amberlyn Roa of Zabor Dance continues this week. The classes meets twice more, on January 16th and 23rd: SALSA 6:00 - 7:00 pm and SWING 7:00 - 8:00 pm. NEW STUDENTS MAY REGISTER BEFORE CLASS THIS WEEK; your tuition will be pro-rated for two weeks --> $24 for one class for two weeks, or $40 for both classes for both weeks (+$5 regsitration fee). A new six-week session begins February 6th.

TONIGHT (Tuesday, January 5th) @ 8:00 pm is the cut-off to register for Dr. Beth Cantrell's HIGH SCHOOL CELLO CHOIR class!!

This class will meet for a special six-week session beginning Wednesday, January 6th for six Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Tuition is $55.

Here is the class description:

"Open to cellists currently enrolled in high school (or home school equivalent). Come enjoy the beautiful sound of multiple cellos! In addition to playing music in a range of styles, sight reading and ensemble skills will be emphasized. Parts of differing levels of difficulty will accommodate various skill levels.

The session culminates in a relaxed performance at OCSA for parents and friends on February 10th."
